Looks like the producers of the Oscars finally realized that it’s 2011, and the award show has been in need of a face lift. The Oscars, airing live on Sunday, will not have the usual traditional set we are all use to seeing. This year, a series of “projections” will be used as the set of the show.
Producers Don Mischer and Bruce Cohen told The Hollywood Reporter, “Our design this year is actually going to reflect more content than you would usually expect of an awards show of this type. We’re using our environment to take us to different places, different times, and it will change dramatically. The look will change from act to act.”
So what is the theme of these “projections.” Well a trip through Hollywood history of course. Check out the entire article in The Hollywood Reporter.
