UPDATE: According to TMZ, this is all false. Sarah Palin will be at her daughter’s wedding. The family’s lawyer told TMZ, “The story asserting that Sarah Palin is ‘boycotting’ Bristol’s wedding has been fabricated. There is no truth to this.”
According to Hollyscoop, Sarah Palin has refused to attend her daughter Bristol’s marriage ceremony to the to boyfriend and father of her child, Levi Johnston.
Bristol and Levi’s relationship has received much media attention ever since the birth of Bristol’s son, in December of 2008. Bristol was 17 years old when she got pregnant.
Although the couple broke up in early 2009, they are back together, and making wedding plans.Palin does not plan on attending wedding, sources say, because she doesn’t feel it’s a wise idea for Levi and her daughter to wed.
Although Sarah will not be attending the wedding, Todd Palin, Bristol’s father, has confirmed his attendance. A friend of the Palins’ told PopEater that Todd “has been looking forward to this day ever since Bristol was a little girl and wouldn’t miss it for anything or anyone”.
Poor Bristol. Maybe Sarah will change her mind before the wedding!
