As if being at Comic-Con and witnessing Sarah Michelle Gellar’s triumphant return to the annual weekend event wasn’t cool enough, just imagine standing next to her and not even knowing it!
Sarah Michelle Gellar, who participated in a panel about her new show Ringer yesterday in Ballroom 20 to which she was welcomed by a standing ovation, has also admitted that she’s gotten good at walking around Comic-Con without security and in disguise! With the success of her disguises, she’s even encouraging other celebrities to follow suit.
Sarah told The Hollywood Reporter, “I always say to actresses, if you haven’t been – this is going to sound really funny – but get a mask and take a look around. I’m serious. You get rushed into your panel (discussion) and you come out of the backside, and you never actually see the main hall. It’s pretty amazing.”
As anyone who knows anything about Comic-Con would know, Sarah’s technique seems to be the perfect idea. Standing in a disguise like a mask is just as normal, if not more so, than going in plain clothes to the event.
She isn’t the only one who has discovered this secret, though. At last year’s convention, actor Michael Cera fooled fans by walking around and wearing a gorilla mask.
