After the successful release of Resident Evil: Afterlife, everyone saw this coming, but now it’s been confirmed.
According to Vulture, Milla Jovovich has already put the notice out to the world: Resident Evil 5 will happen.
Apparently, titled Resident Evil: Afterlife Apocalypse Extinction Explosion (not true — but a man can wish), the fifth installment of the series will be a more “interactive process”.
Here’s what Jovavich had to say:
“We’ve been talking to a lot of fans on Twitter and stuff, so it’s probably going to be one of the first movies where we really talk to fans to see what they want, and what characters they want to see. It’s going to be a more interactive process.”
So whether you are excited about getting to give your two cents on the Resident Evil franchise, or this seems like a desperate cry for creative material, the results will probably show up on screen in a year or two.
