Princess Leia Did Drugs on Hoth

Whoa, princess, whoa. Carrie Fisher, the actress who played Princess Leia in Star Wars, was recently quoted in the Australian Associated Press (via WENN) as saying she did cocaine — on Hoth. “We did cocaine on the set of Empire, in the ice planet…  I didn’t even like coke that much, it was just a case of getting on whatever train I needed to take to get high.” Doing a “bit of ice” on the ice planet, Hoth.  Going “powder for powder” with the Empire… In all seriousness, Carrie Fisher has recently written a memoir, Wishful Drinking, where she opens up about her drinking and drug problems, particularly during the time of The Empire Strikes Back.. (See, she can appreciate a clever turn of phrase.) This puts a whole new perspective on things.  Maybe that’s why Han Solo was so hesitant to get involved — hard drugs are a deal-breaker, even for a space cowboy. Written by Lee C.
