Michael Jackson, the late King of Pop, has always pushed the limits of technology with his concerts, videos, and recordings, and even after death he’s at the forefront of entertainment. Now, he’ll have a video game to add to the list, slated for a Holiday 2010 release.
The game, still untitled, will be “dance karaoke” and truly interactive. It will be available for several systems including Xbox 360, PlayStation3 and Wii. The Xbox 360 version, using the new Kinect motion capture technology, will allow the player to avoid holding a controller and be based on full body movements.
The gamer will be able to both sing along with some of Michael Jackson’s most iconic songs, playing with an autotune feature as well, and dance beside the King of Pop himself.
The total experience, developed by Ubisoft, is aimed to allow the players to step into Michael Jackson’s shoes themselves.
Keep it in mind when you’re making your holiday shopping lists!
