(PCM) A mans amazing reflexes came into play during a recent spring training game between the Pittsburgh Pirates and the Atlanta Braves that took place in Orlando, Florida. The man was able to reach out his arm and prevent a bat that went flying into the stands from hitting a kid smack in the head who was distracted by his cell phone at the time.
The kid was so engrossed by whatever he was looking at on the cell phone that he was completely oblivious to the fact that a bat was flying straight at his head. If it were not for the man’s quick thinking and amazing reflexes, the kid would have most likely been seriously injured. The man was able to stop the bat just millimeters from the kid’s nose.
Amazing photos of the entire incident were captured by sports photojournalist Christopher Horner, who posted the shots on his Twitter account and they have since gone viral. The expression on the kids face is absolutely priceless, as he appear absolutely dumbfounded by the situation occurring around him! Definitely brings new definition to keeping your head in the game, or better yet arm!
