(PCM) Six months ago, college student Chance Bothe was both driving and texting, when his car then plunged off of a cliff.
The last text he sent? “I need to quit texting, because I could die in a car accident.”
Bothe states he is “lucky” to be alive today. After having his face crushed, his skull fractured, as well as minor brain injuries, Bothe additionally had to be brought back to life three times by doctors.
“Don’t do it,” Bothe said simply to a Houston TV station. “Don’t do it. It’s not worth losing your life.”
With texting and driving becoming a real problem on the road, Allstate released a chilling commercial targeting the bad habit.
Multiple states have banned texting and driving as well, including most recently Alabama.
