(PCM) Are we the only ones that really don’t feel bad for him? Kanye West has gone on yet another Twitter rant and this time he is claiming to be nearly $53 million in debt and has requested the assistance of “friend” and Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg by way of loaning him a billion dollars.
Never one to keep his ego in check, Kanye is requesting that Zuckerberg invest one billion dollars in Kanye West’s ideas as he feels he is the greatest living artist and greatest artist of all time! Unbelievable! The tweets continued to get more and more bizarre as Kanye went on to say “Mark Zuckerberg I know it’s your bday but can you please call me by 2mrw … You love hip hop, you love my art… I am your favorite artist but you watch me barely breathe and still play my album in your house … World, please tweet, FaceTime, Facebook, instagram, whatever you gotta do to get Mark to support me … I’m this generation’s Disney … I want to bring dope shit to the world … I don’t have enough resources to create what I really can.”
He also took things a step further and began to reach out to other tech billionaires such as Larry Page and concluded his Twitter rant session with the following: “All you dudes in San Fran play rap music in your homes but never help the real artists.” He added that they were more interested in opening schools in Africa. “like you really helped the country”, than – by implication – giving money to the one of the world’s most high-profile celebrities. “All you guys had meetings with me and no one lifted a finger to help.”
Thus far there has been no response from either Mark Zuckerberg or Larry Page and there has been little activity on Kanye’s social media accounts since the plea other than him defending his request and asking the public to understand just why he needs the extra funding because “he is an artist and he cares about humanity”. :: insert eye roll here::
We are crying a river for you Kanye, really we are!
