The 32-year-old Harold and Kumar star, Kal Penn, is set to start working on the third installment of the comedic film series this June.
Penn took some time off from acting since last July to pursue a career in the White House. After campaigning for President Obama, he has been working as the associate director of public engagement.
This next Harold and Kumar adventure will be Christmas themed and is slated to be released in the 2011 holiday season.
