The fist-pumping “Jersey Shore” star, Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, was in court yesterday facing charges from her July arrest during season 3 production in Seaside Heights. She was slapped with a $500 fine and 2 days of community service for disorderly conduct on the beach, in which she reportedly stumbled over beach-goers trying to get their tan on! Snooki did plead guilty and apologized to the court, but that certainly did not faze the Judge who compared her to Lindsay Lohan! …What?!
I’m not suggesting it’s okay to be an obnoxious drunk on the beach, but to compare Snookers to someone who drives drunk, skips court hearings, and was just released from jail seems a little dramatic. Judge Damian G. Murray of Seaside Heights told her, “Rude, profane, obnoxious and self-indulgent is not the way to live your life. If this was your idea of a good time, it appears your recent celebrity has affected your judgment.”
Okay, sure, maybe her quick rise to fame has affected her judgment, but she’s also on a TV show that revolves around drinking, partying, and of course, GTL. People love to hate on this cast, so who knows how “rude, profane” and “obnoxious” Snooki really was that day. MTV has not reported when, or if, that particular incident will be included in season 3, but I sure hope so!
