Put it this way: if the Jets take it on Sunday, Rex Ryan (he of the foot fetishes) will do what Joe Namath tried to do back in the 1960’s…take Gang Green to the Super Bowl!
(But speaking as someone who lived in Pittsburgh during her 4 years of undergraduate school…let me say this: there will be A RIOT at the Three Rivers if the “Stillers” (Steelers) lose. They’re admittedly a tough team to beat — and the Jets are clearly the underdogs here — but my money’s on the Jets for this one…)
