Teen star Miley Cyrus and actor Liam Hemsworth have ended their relationship after over a year of dating.
Liam’s rep has confirmed this news saying, “it’s true.” The Last Song costars have been denying break up rumors for a while now. In June Miley denied that they had split posting on her website that they were “so happy.”
Recent reports have said that the couple was getting serious. Miley reportedly recently purchased a $3.4 million house near her parents California home where Liam was a frequent guest.
The pair began their romance in 2009 on the set of the film The Last Song. Miley claims she wasn’t looking for a relationship at the time, but Liam won her over. “I’m not really a big lovey person. I’m not, like, mushy. [But] Liam was the first person that made me want to be in a real relationship,” Miley told People in April.
