The Most Interesting Man In The World Is Headed For Retirement

(PCM) Dos Equis has revealed that after nine years they plan to finally allow “The Most Interesting Man In The World” to retire and plan to move forward with a new and “fresher” ad campaign.  The Most Interesting Man In The World has been the brands primary and most popular advertising character since he was first introduced and has always remained just a little bit of a mystery. The handsomely aged adventurer was portrayed by Dos Equis as a man who drunk deeply from life and invited us all in for a taste. He was always surrounded by gorgeous women and appeared to have traveled the globe on some absolutely amazing adventures. He always made sure to let us know that he didn’t always drink beer, but when he did, it was Dos Equis and of course remind us to always “Stay thirsty, my friends”. Dos Equis filmed one final ad with the current Most Interesting Man In The World, who is played by 77-year-old actor Jonathan Goldsmith. Our man is sent off on a one-way rocket to Mars along with a beautiful blonde female co-pilot. Dos Equis claims that they have plans to continue the same ad campaign with a new actor and hope to give it a more “contemporary” feel. Thus far no additional details have been revealed.
