Hotel Replaces Bible with ’50 Shades of Grey’

(PCM) My, how ’50 Shades of Grey’ has taken over. Forget the Bible!  Travelers can now expect to start finding the provocative book on hotel bedside tables! A hotel in London – the Damson Dene Hotel in the Lake District, incase you’re interested – has decided that in this day and age, it is “inappropriate” to keep religious materials in bedside tables.  Hotel owner Jonathan Denby felt it would be more hospitable to stock rooms with the UK’s best-selling book, instead. “Because everybody is reading Fifty Shades of Greywe thought it would be a hospitable thing to do, to have this available for our guests, especially if some of them were a little bit shy about buying it because of its reputation,” he said. I don’t know how shy people are about buying it, especially in the UK where it’s currently the best-selling book on shelves. It’s also been reported that it’s the UK’s fastest-selling novel of all time, leaving Harry Potter and Twilight in the dust! Where will the book turn up next!?
