Glee’s Lea Michele To Make Big Screen Debut

Glee is the show of the moment.  It’s stars are currently surrounded by controversy due to a scandalous GQ photoshoot, and the show has become a cultural phenomenon (both in terms of TV and music). So, it makes sense that the stars would start to make their way to the movies.  In all honesty, I would have bet that Dianna Agron would have been the first to snag a role in a big-time production, but it seems Lea Michele is going to take that honor. Michele is rumored star in New Year’s Eve, the follow-up to last years hit Valentine’s Day.  The movie will follow the exact same formula, except — you guessed it — on New Year’s Eve instead of Valentine’s Day. No word yet on the calibur of star power in this one, but it seems Michelle has found quite a nice launching pad for her film career, if the rumors are true. Glee airs on Fox, Tuesdays at 8/7c.
