While there may not be too much of a difference between both the “Like” and “Love” reactions, Facebook is most excited about the inclusion of both “Sad” and “Angry”, as not every post by a user is always joyful in nature especially those that death with issues such a death, job loss, natural disaster or other similar situation.
To access the new status ‘Reactions’ on a mobile phone or tablet, simply hold down on the “Like” button and the new options were appear. On a desktop or laptop computer just hover the mouse over the “Like” button and choose which reaction fits the best.
Facebook claims that the reason they did not simply go with just a “Dislike” button was due to the fact that they did not want to see Facebook become a place were a users posts were able to be voted up and down. The company feels that ‘Reactions’ are a much better option as they follow broader range of emotion and the six chosen can be universally understood by all users.
