(PCM) It seems that despite being pretty active on social media, Donald Trump is still trying to wrap his head around Twitter. He should probably hire some kind of social media coordinator so that instances like the one that happened to him today could be avoided in the future.
A user going by the handle @feckhead tweeted the following message to Trump:
“My parents who passed away always said you were big inspiration. Can you pls RT for their memory?”
Of course, Trump retweeted the message that also included a photo of people that he obviously thought were @feckhead’s parents.
However, it turned out that Trump got pranked and the photo that he retweeted was actually a snapshot of notorious murderers Fred and Rose West … opps!
It took Trump and his team almost an hour to realize the major Twitter mistake and the tweet has since been deleted from his account, but of course not before it has already begun circulating the net.
The person behind the Twitter prank was comedian Philip Bradbury and after the news began to circulate, his number of Twitter followers began to soar. Also, others started to get in on the fun with people posting images of everyone from Freddy Kruger to Darth Vadar requesting a retweet from Mr. Trump.
The West’s went on their murderous rampage from the years of 1973-1979. Fred West killed himself in his jail cell back in 1995 and Rose West is still currently serving a life sentence.
