(PCM) The individuals that own the “A Christmas Story” house in Cleveland, OH are once again offering up a two-night stay in the famous home to the person with the highest bid. The online eBay auction started Monday, Dec. 1 at 5:30 p.m. and will run for seven days.
The winner of the auction will actually get to stay in the house for a two nights that will fall on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day and if that wasn’t enough of a gift they will also receive $800 worth of presents including a Red Ryder BB Gun and a replica of the infamous leg lamp.
Steve Siedlecki, Executive Director of “A Christmas Story” House and Museum says “We will have a BB gun range set up for the person so can take their BB gun, run outside and hopefully not shoot their eye out.” He goes on to say “It’s a great experience. Fans love to come here. Now is their chance to actually stay in the house on Christmas so what better way to spend Christmas than in the Christmas Story house”.
In the past a Christmas stay in the home has gone for anywhere between $4,000 and $6,000 and all proceeds go to benefit the “A Christmas Story House Foundation,” a non-profit that raises money to help homeowners in the Tremont neighborhood with upgrades to both their homes and community.
