Zachary Quinto will be returning with Jessica Lange for the second season of FX’s hit show “American Horror Story,” but with a big twist.
The actors will be playing entirely new characters and the story will take place in a completely different location, according to producers Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk.
Quinto, who had a four episode arc in the first season, will return as one of the show’s male lead’s but Murphy revealed that much of the new season will revolve around Lange’s new character.
“This will really be the Jessica Lange show so I’m very excited about it. We are designing this amazing new opposite of the Constance character for her. She and I have spoken about different things. She has a lot of ideas, and has a lot of input into her character. She told me some things she has always wanted to play as an actress,” Murphy said.
The new season will take place on the east coast at a haunted insane asylum.
