The 24-year-old actress, Amanda Bynes, announces on her Twitter account that she is retiring from acting.
She started Tweeting Saturday morning. “I’ve never written the movies & tv shows I’ve been apart of I’ve only acted like the characters the producers or directors wanted me to play/Being an actress isn’t as fun as it may seem/If I don’t love something anymore I stop doing it/I don’t love acting anymore so I’ve stopped doing it/I know 24 is a young age to retire but you heard it here first I’ve #retired.”
Amanda started her career on Nickelodeon on “All That.” Soon after, she got “The Amanda Show.” From 2002-06, she co-starred in “What I Like About You” alongside Jennie Garth.
She has also been in movies such as “She’s the Man,” “What a Girl Wants,” and “Hairspray.” Her last movie, coming out this fall, is “Easy A.”
