In late April, Simpson gave birth to her baby girl Maxwell Drew Johnson, who is her first child with fiancé Eric Johnson. Maxwell’s middle name is actually the maiden name for Tina Simpson (Jessica’s mother).
After six months of dating, 31-year-old Simpson and 32-year-old Johnson got engaged. They waited until the arrival of their daughter to start planning the wedding details.
But first, it was important to make sure Maxwell had a Godmother. The honor went to her best friend CaCee Cobb who has been seen all around with Simpson while out for appearances.
Cobb is also known as Simpson’s confidante on the show Newlyweds, where we saw her visiting the house a lot. Cobb is also engaged to Scrubs star Donald Faison.
