(PCM) The same way that Black Friday shopping is now beginning to spill over onto Thanksgiving Day, online Cyber Monday shopping deals are already beginning to pop up on the net about 24 hours ahead of schedule.
Cyber Monday was a phrase that was initially created by a website called Shop.org and is viewed as the official kick-off to the online holiday shopping season. It is paired up with both Black Friday and Small Business Saturday to create the retail trifecta.
Currently, CyberMonday.com is offering up sales from approximately 20 various retailers that are rotating on the hour. During a recent survey, about 78% of consumers said that they plan to shop on Cyber Monday equaling out to about 183.8 million shoppers.
This year, Black Friday sales saw a bit of a decline, as more and more individuals are shopping from the comfort of their own homes online rather than dealing with the long lines and craziness that can go along with visiting a brick and mortar store during the holiday weekend.
