(PCM) It is truly amazing that technology has reached such a new height that even a voice coming from a TV commercial can inadvertently cause our machines to go haywire and activate themselves without our knowledge.
This very thing happened during the new commercial for the Xbox One featuring actor Aaron Paul. During the commercial, Paul utters a key phrase “Xbox On” at his television which in turn has caused a few people to comment that Paul’s voice in the commercial has accidentally activated their own Xbox consoles due to Kinect’s well-tuned microphones. Maybe a little too well-tuned!
Next time the company is promoting a voice-activated console, they might want to reconsider their script!
