In her first interview since Lindsay Lohan was released from rehab, former Betty Ford staffer Dawn Holland tells RumorFix.com exclusively, “I wish her nothing but the best with her recovery.”
Holland was involved in an altercation with Lohan on December 12, 2010 when she confronted the Mean Girls star for missing her curfew. In the wake of that, Lindsay is now being investigated for probation violations.
Holland tells RumorFix.com that despite their rocky relationship she holds “no ill feelings” toward Lindsay.
In fact, Holland reveals she can relate to the star in a way most people cannot. “I’m in recovery myself. I’ve been clean and sober for almost seven years. I’ve been where she’s been before and I know what she’s going through. I’ve been there emotionally and the whole nine yards,” she tells RumorFix.com
Holland’s life has been turned upside down since the highly-publicized incident, but she says she’s “doing pretty good now” and doesn’t have plans on leaving the Palm Springs area. “I’ve been here for 20 years. I’m not going anywhere.”
