Amanda Bynes has come out of retirement. The 24-year-old former actress recently tweeted “I’ve unretired” before plugging her upcoming flick, Easy A. Bynes announced her departure from acting one month ago, tweeting that being an actress “isn’t as fun as it may seem.”
“If I don’t love something anymore I stop doing it. I don’t love acting anymore so I’ve stopped doing it. I’ve never written the movies & TV shows I’ve been a part of,” she tweeted. “I’ve only acted liked the characters the producers or directors wanted me to play…I’ve retired.”
Amanda, isn’t it your job to act like the characters the producers and directors want you to play?
Since making it big on Nickelodeon’s smash hit All That, Bynes has headlined her own sketch comedy show, The Amanda Show, starred in the WB series What I Like About You, and appeared in blockbuster films like What a Girl Wants, She’s the Man, and Hairspray.
We’re looking forward to see what role brought her out of retirement…but in the meantime, check out the trailer for Easy A below!
