Lady Gaga’s Racy New Ad

(PCM) Lady Gaga is no stranger to delving into the strange to get her messages across. Her latest perfume ad is no exception.

The ad for Lady Gaga’s new perfume, Fame, depicts Gaga lying out rather scantily clad, save for a mask over her face. All over her body seem to be little men, clambering up over her. The ad has been met with mixed results, some praising Gaga for her originality while others just confused.

Lady Gaga herself was a little nervous about the release of the ad, taking to Twitter to express how she hoped it was well received.

Lady G’s Meat Dress Meets The Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame

Glam rock’s mind-boggling black sheep Lady Gaga 25, unleashed her carnal desires at the MTV Video Music Awards last year…and returned them to the freezer after they thawed. Trying to navigate this little monster’s labyrinth of a mind is always a trying task for the public, and when the outcast icon graced the red carpet with a dress made of flesh, she was truly too raw to digest. The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, however, seems willing to reverently stomach Gaga’s wearing her inner inedible beast on her sleeve.

The Hall of Fame plans to honor the strange star and her ‘meat dress’ by featuring it in the, “Women Who Rock: Vision, Passion, Power,” exhibit in their Cleavland museum.  Serving as the face for society’s silenced rejects per usual, Lady G accepted her MTV trophy in the gory garb in hopes of making a statement of human rights; she offered this humane premise behind her outfit ,”If we don’t stand up for what we believe in and if we don’t fight for our rights, pretty soon we’re going to have as much rights as the meat on our own bones.”

Diligent designers Franc Fernandez and Nichola Formichetti hand sewed the bloody bodice made of Argentinian beef. Since its Hollywood debut last year, the chemically saturated garment has been cooling in a freezer.  It was dried out before being transported to the museum, which according to Hall of Fame spokeswoman Margaret Thresher, gave the dress a “dark, beef jerky look”, so it has since been painted to look “fresher”.

A trailblazer focused on shock factor, Gaga has since learned to stun and startle without the help of her butcher.
