Glee is always on top of the musical times, and they will continue to do the same for tomorrow’s Valentine’s Day episode. They will be dedicating their episode entitled, “Heart,” to Whitney Houston. As you might have heard, the adored songstress passed away this weekend. The producers of Glee wanted to honor the 48-year-old in some way to pay respects to such a musical icon. Heather Morris, one of everyone’s favorite Glee stars, recently did a photo shoot with Tyler Shields and it’s stirring up quite the controversy. The pictures feature Morris, 24, with a black eye and, in some, an iron and its cord. While Morris’ Glee character, Brittany, is beloved for her hysterical and often inane one-liners, this photo shoot has been causing many to question what Morris and photographer Shields were thinking doing a photo shoot that can rather easily invoke and, as many argue, attempt to glamorize the image of domestic violence. Chris Colfer who plays the lovable Kurt Hummel on Fox’s hit show Glee signed a two-book deal. Things are moving on up for this musical buff. He plays a main character for a popular TV series, just turned 21-years-old, won a Golden Globe for his role as Kurt, and can now add “author” to his resume. We should also mention that he was recently named Time’s 100 Most Influential People. The deal he signed is with Little, Brown Books for Young Readers. When Rebecca Black’s “Friday” song hit Youtube, it was a viral joke. All across the nation, people couldn’t help but to mock the tune. Well now the nation will be chattering once again. Did you miss out on getting tickets to the Glee Live! In Concert! tour. Well fret no more. Now fans will be able to gleek out at the theaters. GLEE LIVE! 3D! will consist of tour footage from the concert occurring this summer. The movie is scheduled to do a two week run starting August 12th. Ryan Murphy, Glee‘s co-creator stated, “There were only so many cities we could get to. We knew that not every fan who wanted to attend a concert would get that opportunity. The appearance drew a crowd of over 500+ screaming fans who waited over 10+ hours to meet the star. We can’t say we blame them, we are fairly smitten with Darren Criss and The Warblers as well! On the heels of amazing sellouts in major markets, Glee Live! In Concert! has added more dates to its blockbuster summer tour with a limited number of new tickets released.
