This past weekend on March 26 – one of the hottest stars in Hollywood got married. Reese Witherspoon, her second marriage, wedded A-list agent Jim Toth, his first marriage, in a fairy tale ceremony at Reese’s Ojai, California Ranch. Guests included Renee Zellweger, Matthew McConaughey, Scarlett Johansson (with Sean Penn as her date), Gwyneth Paltrow and hubby Chris Martin plus preggers Kate Hudson! The list doesn’t end there. The pop star confirmed the rumors of a tour this morning between songs at her pretaped San Francisco show on Good Morning America – she’s hitting the road this summer in support of her new album, Femme Fatale, with Enrique Iglesias! This Thursday’s American Idol results show was one of the most shocking shows yet. The night began with a surprise appearance by Stevie Wonder who showed up to wish his friend Steven Tyler a happy birthday. Then finalists James Durban and Paul McDonald confessed their love of pro wrestling. Ryan Seacrest called them both center stage to tell them their fate and said neither of them were safe. For fellow animal lovers like me this story is heart-breaking! According to People Magazine the world’s most popular polar bear, Knut (pronounced kuh- NOOT), died March 19. To make matters worse, he died in front of 600 of his fans, most probably children. He was playing on the rocks when he suddenly convulsed and fell into the water and didn’t resurface. The four year old polar bear was born at the Berlin Zoo in Germany and when he was rejected by his mother, Thomas Dorflein (who was his keeper) bottle fed him back to health and took the place of his mother.
